Mumbai University Implements QR Code Technology to Prevent Results Delays

Mumbai University (MU) has modified its examination procedure in response to the previous season's delayed results announcement.

For the new process, MU has emailed each exam center a PDF file including the student's barcode, seat number, and other information. 

Exam centers download the PDF, print it on the university-provided sticker, and attach it to the students' answer sheets.

Mumbai University uses QR code to avoid result delays

In a recently published press release, an official from the institution indicated that because there is a QR code, the university will have access to all student records and results will not be withheld due to misinformation.

In the meanwhile, the outcomes of the 72 degree examinations that were administered in October and November of 2023—including the BA, BSc, BCom, and BPharmacy—have been released.
