Antonio Salazar Barrull (born 1949 in A Corua), known as Zngaro, is a Spanish singer and composer of Gypsy origin whose style corresponds to a late 1970s fusion of Flamenco, jazz, and rock.
He followed Manzanita's style, with a voice full of personality, charm, and charisma. From the first notes, his music and playing piqued the interest of traditional flamenco listeners. His mentor and producer, Jose Luis de Carlos, presented his work as a new style between pop and flamenco, serious, rigorous, contemporary, passionate, and visionary, with jazz and black music influences. His first LPs were among his career highlights. The singles "Llorarás de pena" and "Chie, Chie" were included on the debut album, Zingaro – Voz de Luna Album (EAN 8901020039006), released in 1979.
