The inclusion of barcode scanning aims to improve the app's meal-tracking capabilities. This tool lets users rapidly track their food by scanning barcodes or QR codes on food packaging.

The software immediately saves the food's name, calorie content, and other nutritional data.

Users may also change the serving size and calorie consumption, as well as add regularly consumed foods to a favorites list for quick access.

Currently, the barcode scanning capability is accessible in the United States and a few European countries, such as France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland. Samsung intends to spread this feature to more locations in the future.
