Furthermore, users of foreign mobile wallets and financial apps who go to China will be able to make payments by scanning merchant-present QR codes for payment methods such as e-CNY, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.

The business will continue to focus on addressing the needs, preferences, and demands of clients and customers in an ever-changing market while also prioritizing the process of maintaining compliance with industry regulations and laws.

According to business executives, Thunes is already collaborating with members of Thunes' Direct Global Network, including Airtel, m-Pesa (Kenya), Hanpass (South Korea), and Vodacom (Tanzania), to make the QR Code Payments solution available to its customers going to China.

Other members are anticipated to join soon as part of a process aimed at expanding the solutions' reach and improving the overall client experience.
